Crap. Well, Dineen and I might want in-house child care, but you’d have to move to DC and that’s probably not the gig you’re looking for.

Sorry, Anil. Those fat cats at the Voice don’t know what they’re losing.

That sucks. They are the losers to miss out on your talent. Good luck with the hunt. Maybe a good job will find you!

Did this blog have anything to do with it? (Not really my business; feel free not to answer if you think I’m prying.)

Anil

Nope, this site (and the TV appearance, to answer some other emails) didn’t have anything to do with it. There’s no hard feelings between me and anyone at the Voice, which is one of the positive parts of the whole thing.

I will probably write up more on my time at the Voice, and some of the changes I’d advocated during my time there, on this site in the future.

I am very sorry to hear this news. I will tap my friends in NYC and see what they know. I will check to see if they allow white sweaters if there are any gigs open.

Good luck finding a new job, Anil. Wow, maybe I should rethink moving to New York if someone as kick ass as you runs into job difficulties…

Nah, don’t write off the best city in the world based on my career being in flux. C’mon over! :)

It’s just the same old story — big-city communists beating on the multicultural man, once again. When will this spectre of our society be overcome?

The about page is nice but what’s the ideal gig you’re looking for?

Sucks! It was the purse, wasn’t it? Good luck.
