Did you see Bruce McCall’s “Guided Tour of The New Yorker” in the Anniversary Issue, Feb 19 & 26 this year? In it, the Music Critic appears to have the best job. Everyone else is drowning in paper.

No! I missed that — I’ll have to go back and take a look. My own experience in working with music critics is they always have the best scam going.
