Bigger and better than ever, KICK! will return for this year's 2005 SXSW Interactive festival. As always, we're an unofficial event, proud to take place before SXSWi gets into full swing, but not affiliated with the official schedule.
There's some exciting new surprises this year, but here's the basics so you can schedule time on your calendar:
- When: Saturday, March 12 at 10:30am
- Where: Palm Park, behind the Austin Convention Center
- Who: Everyone's invited! It helps if you're a geek or a blogger
- What: Kickball. A simple game, tons of fun, and nobody gets picked last
- How: Just show up with some shoes you can run in, and we'l handle the rest

We're kickball geek renegades; why do we need to be sanctioned?
We need to be sanctioned so that the winning team is eligible to compete in the Annual AKAA Kick Off.
The Legendary Kickball Master Scrivs will make his triumphant return to the kickball playing field. He last played 15 years ago in the 5th grade championship and soon after retired. Let's see if he still has it.
