• Do spend all day shopping with your girl and her mom.
• Do not draw too much attention to the fact that you know how to coordinate your shoes with your purse.
• Do give your girl’s tired, aching feet a massage after a long day of walking around to all the stores.
• Do not follow this up with some toe-sucking while Mom is still around.
